Description

The Biggest Little Celebration in the Mother Lode

The Annual Lumberjack Day parade and festival celebrates the lumber history of Calaveras County. It takes place in downtown West Point on the first Saturday of October. Complete with vendors, lumberjack competitions, a parade and car show, this event is fun for the whole family

Lumberjack Competition
Everything from ax throwing, choke cable setting, gentlemans sawing contest, suspension walking, team cutting, etc. .

7:00am - Pancake Breakfast at Vets Hall
8:30am - Soapbox Derby
9:00am - Car Show
9:00am - Street and Food Fair
9:00am - Arts & Crafts Fair & Vendors
10:00am - Lumberjack King/Queen Crowning
11:00am - LUMBERJACK DAY PARADE (route Main Street and Pine Street)
11:30am - Tri-Tip Lunch
12:00 noon - 5:00pm - Youth Activities
1:00pm - Petting Zoo
1:00pm - Logging Show and Competition
1:00pm - Tri-Tip Lunch
1:00pm - Horseshoe Tournament

3:00pm - Firehouse Raffle Announcement
