Jackson Oktoberfest was founded by Wolfgang's Pretzels of Pioneer, California in 2012. Wolfgang wanted to share his German heritage with the community, while raising some money for local charities.

This year, the event will be held at the Italian Picnic Grounds in Sutter Creek, which we have aptly dubbed "Oktoberfest Picnic Grounds" for the day, so there's plenty of room for everyone

Oktoberfest promises fun for the entire family, including live entertainment, contests, music and dancing, and an authentic taste of Bavaria with Wolfgang's own soft pretzels, and of course, the mainstay of any Oktoberfest...German beer

Part of the excitement of Oktoberfest is the tradition of its contests. We'll have plenty of prizes, so try your hand at Keg Rolling, Yodeling, Bratwurst Throwing, or see how many mugs you can hold in one hand We'll also have a Bavarian Dress contest for men, women, and children, so don your lederhosen or dirndl, and join in the fun
