JACKSON LIONS PRESENT PRCA RODEO, CAR SHOW & OUTDOOR EXPO

The Jackson Lions Club is proud to present its first Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Rodeo Sept. 13 and 14 at the Amador County Fairgrounds.

"We had to dream big," said rodeo spokesperson Todd Riebe. "The Lions motto is 'We Serve.' Every year, we raise more than $100,000 and give it all back to the community, yet it is not enough. The needs of our community have grown greater than our Club's capacity to meet them."

In addition to the rodeo, the event will host a Home Expo featuring a number of businesses and organizations displaying their products and services. On Saturday, the Jackson Lions will have the fairgrounds sparkling with the brilliance of beautifully restored automotive excellence during the multi-acre Classic Car Show. Saturday evening, the Chris Gardner Band will entertain the crowd with their boot-shakin' country-rock tunes. And, of course, folks wont go hungry or thirsty thanks to the menus and drinks provided by local non-profit groups.
