FLY FISHING CLASSES WITH AMADOR FLYFISHERS

The Amador County Recreation Agency in partnership with Amador Flyfishers, a local fishing club, is pleased to offer a course on the ins and outs of fly fishing to those who want to learn about the sport.

Cost: $40
Course size is limited to 20 people
18 years or older.
(Ages 12-17 can participate if accompanied by an adult participant.)

Course content will include:

• Explanation of what fly fishing is about
  
• Bugs, their life cycle and importance in fly fishing
  
• Overview of equipment used and how to use it
  
• Where the fish are holding in the water, and why they are there
  
• Where to go fly fishing and special regulations
  

* Casting class where various casting techniques will be demonstrated and practiced.
