Christmas comes to Sutter CreekThe streets of Historic Sutter Creek come alive with Christmas spirit as they are transformed to an era gone by with Charles Dickens characters and carolers in period costume, strolling along the beautifully lit streets of this magical Gold Rush Town. Gather your family and friends and experience a weekend of nostalgic holiday festivities. Feel the warmth of the season grow in your heart from the warm smiles of everyone you meet. The Main Street Merchants open their doors to welcome you with refreshments and edible treats. Most of the stores will be open until 9:00pm so that you can get a jump on your Holiday Shopping....

Free carraige rides will be offered in front of the Visitor Center (71a Main Street).

Meet at the Immaculate Conception Church at 6:00pm to join Joseph & Mary as they search for shelter.
Sing Christmas Carols as you walk behind them along historic Spanish Street, beautifully lit in luminarias.
