Description
We all enjoy the beauty of flowers and fresh produce from our gardens. But, our harvests would not be possible without the help of various small, flying creatures. Approximately 75% of all plants need pollinators. With a little planning, you can have a beautiful, productive garden as well as provide important habitat for hummingbirds, butterflies, bees and other important pollinators. Please join the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County on Saturday, March 18th for Welcoming Pollinators to Your Garden. This class will include advice on selection and care of plants known to attract local pollinators. Hand-outs will be available. The class is free and open to the public. No reservations are required. All classes are held in the GSA building at 12200-B Airport Rd. in Jackson from 9am to noon.
