Mark your calendar for this BASICS class #1 for Water Bath and Steam Canning of HIGH ACID food (pickles, jam/jelly, fruits, tomatoes)
You will have an opportunity to handle and compare the various types of equipment options and then ask questions to help you determine which would be the best fit for your preserving needs. Watch folks walk and talk you through the steps to understand the importance of safety and tested recipes.
This is a repeating 3 part series of BASICS classes offered on weekday evenings:
8/15 #2 Pressure Canning of LOW ACID food (vegies/meat/seafood)
9/19 #3 Freezing & Dehydrating
