PINECREST LAKE POLAR BEAR JUMP

Usher in the new year with a chill..

Meet us at Pinecrest Lake on January 1st 2020 at 2pm for a dip in the icy water, or sit onshore and watch people freeze their butts off.
Hot dogs and hot chocolate will be available and a prize will be awarded for best costume.

Event is free and open to anyone who wishes to take the plunge!

Costume contest details:

-One prize will be given to the best costume prior to entering the lake
-Costumes will be voted on by all participants

Hot dogs and hot chocolate:

-Will be free to all participants
-Donations will be accepted and will be given to the E Clampus Vitus Scholarship fund, helping disadvantaged youth pay for college.

-Cold water can be dangerous!! Please be aware of the risks and do not participate unless you are in good health. Young children and people with heart problems should NOT participate. If you have any question about your ability, please talk to your doctor.
-Water shoes are recommended, numb feet can't feel sharp rocks
-Bring your own towels, blankets, heating pads and whatever else you will need to warm yourself up after the plunge, none of this will be provided.
