When I started doPlaces I expected to stick with it at least a couple years as things such as this, realistically, take a bit of time - to gather data and get established. I would say, after five years, I have realized all of what I had originally planned for it.

Behind this simple looking thing is a lot of usability and versatility not found on larger services.

This year, doPlaces is receiving a bit of needed tuning in its logo, layout and interface and will also have some improved functionality as well.
