AMADOR FAIR FOUNDATION
Plymouth
Description
The purpose of Amador County Fair Foundation is to support and benefit the community building and educational projects of the Amador County Fair.
The Foundation seeks and receives grants and donations, provides volunteer support to insure the growth and viability of the Amador County Fair and the 26th District Agricultural Association.
Why does the Fair need a Foundation?
The Foundation is free to accept donations and endowments, acquire land, make building improvements and can implement projects that are not feasible under the states umbrella. The Foundation can also secure our fair funds for our fair in fiscally unstable times.
Doesnt the Fair make enough money on its own?
The County Fair provides an opportunity for many of Amador Countys non-profit organization to raise funds but alas, it does not make enough money on gate admissions and other fees to be self-sustaining.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, the Fair Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
