The Calaveras County Commission on Aging (CCCOA) acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors and is empowered to perform such functions as are consistent with its purposes:
If you are interested in senior issues and would like to participate, you are welcome to attend one of our meetings and consider becoming a commissioner.
- to help the community to provide an environment conducive to the well-being of older people
- to concern itself with preventing problems
- to deal with problems after they occur and
- to attempt to be aware of and communicate regarding issues affecting seniors in Calaveras County.
