GOLD COUNTRY SHOOTERS - CALAVERAS HIGH SPORTSMAN'S CLUB

Gold Country Shooters (GCS) Trap Team and Calaveras High Sportsman's Club (CHS) was established in 2008, competing with other Clubs and High Schools throughout the state in the California Youth Shooting Sports Association (CYSSA).

As part of the CYSSA roster, Gold Country Shooters and Calaveras High Sportsman's Club Trap Teams focus on youth development, providing athletes an avenue to develop skills in patience, commitment, self-discipline, and fair play. And while emphasis in firearm safety is first and foremost, giving the athletes the discipline and confidence to safely operate a firearm, we encourage the spirit of competition in a team environment. Our athletes are committed to honoring the game, and as a result, become better athletes, teammates, and members of the community.
