HOTEL LEGER

At one time part of the Hotel was the Calaveras County Courthouse and Jail (1852-1866) The Hotel Leger is one of the many impressive historical establishments in Mokelumne Hill, still with much the original construction and rustic furnishing throughout.

besides lodging, the historic building also offers a banquet room, pool, saloon, and dining areas.

The hotel has 14 rustic rooms (see website for booking link and room descriptions)

During the Summer, the Hotel Leger offers daily pool passes for $2 to $3 per person and season passes are also available. No reservations are needed to swim. (The pool is only closed when there are private events. So call first if you plan to drop in.) See website for further details.

Pool is open 8:00 am - Dusk during the summer.

The hotel was also featured on Travel Channel's "Hotel Impossible," since then even more improvements have been made.
