MURPHYS CREEK THEATRE

Murphys Creek Theatre is a small, professionally oriented theatre company located in the charming and historic goldrush-era town of Murphys, in Calaveras County, California.

Founded in 1994, the company produces the annual Theatre Under the Stars outdoor summer theatre festival at the beautiful amphitheatre at Albeno Munari Vineyard and Winery (formerly Stevenot). Since its founding in 1994, MCTs productions at Stevenot have grown steadily in popularity and critical acclaim, and have become a favorite summer tradition for both residents and visitors alike.
